One day an artist friend gave me a transparent sheet of perspex, challenging me to do something with it.
I started putting on it several layers of transparent oil colours. Then I mixed the oil with sand, marble powder, various varnishes, mediums and water.
The resulting substance seemed to have a life of its own and I kept arranging it, scraping-down and building again until I was satisfied with the result.
All perspex works, except Organic Green, were painted on the back in order to present a glossy frontal side.
It was a successful experiment. In fact they were all sold, except for Light Green and Organic Green, that are still in my studio.
